The Experience and Emotion Design Lab aims to evaluate the emotional relationship between consumers and objects and to improve design through scientific methods. Its research examines how factors such as the tactile feel, color, temperature, sound, and shape of materials influence user feedback. It uses various sensing methods and algorithms to measure and quantify user feedback, converts users' latent emotions during use into data, and ultimately forms data modules that can serve as design references, thereby helping to scientifically derive ideal products.
