He's a researcher of CASE. In 1995, he obtained his doctorate in optical engineering from Tsinghua University. Before joining ShanghaiTech University, he was the chief scientist of GE Central Research Institute and GE China intelligent manufacturing technology center. He has long been committed to the research and development of laser and optical instrument design, optical fiber sensing technology, laser and photoelectric testing technology, robot and industrial automation.
