1.Enrollment Provinces
18 provinces (cities) including Beijing, Shanghai, Shandong, Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Jiangxi, Fujian, Henan, Sichuan, Guizhou, Yunnan, Liaoning, Tianjin, Hubei, Shanxi, Hunan, Gansu and Chongqing.
2.Admissions Major
10 undergraduate majors including Physics, Chemistry, Materials Science and Engineering, Biological Sciences, Biomedical Engineering, Electronic Information Engineering, Computer Science and Technology, Mathematics and Applied Mathematics, Management Science, Industrial Design (newly added), among which, Mathematics and Applied Mathematics, Management Science, and Industrial Design are only enrolled in some provinces (cities). Students from other provinces still have the opportunity to transfer after meeting the conditions.
3.Comprehensive Evaluation
The school admissions committee will make a comprehensive assessment based on the candidates' application materials and the overall performance of the candidates on the Open Campus Day. Students with outstanding performance will receive the comprehensive scores of the Campus Open Day.
The comprehensive scores of the 'Open Campus Day' are as follows:
A：20 points； B：15 points； C：10 points.
The school adds the comprehensive scores of the candidates on the 'Open Campus Day' to their college entrance examination scores, and ranks them together with the college entrance examination scores of other candidates who applied to our school but did not obtain the comprehensive scores of the 'Open Campus Day', and then selects the best candidates for admission.
4.Application materials
1. One self-report letter: Applicants need to independently complete a self-report letter based on the school-running philosophy of ShanghaiTech University of Aspiration, Success, Service for the Country, and Enriching the People and their own experience. (Within 800 words, in principle, information about the applicant's family member status is not allowed in the readme).
2. 1 or 2 recommendation letters: the applicant's class teacher, class teacher, extracurricular activity instructor, etc. describe the characteristics of the student and the reason for recommendation. (Each recommendation letter is less than 800 words, and the registration system will provide the way to submit the recommendation letter).
3. Applicant's high school transcript (the full score value of each course must be indicated, stamped with the school's official seal, and signed by the principal).
4. The applicant's province (city) academic proficiency test transcript or certification materials.
5. Other relevant materials that can reflect the applicant's own characteristics (comprehensive quality files published in detail by the middle school, and realistic records of the applicant's outstanding performance in ideological and moral, physical and mental health, artistic literacy, social practice, etc.).
